Who we are
Aid 4 Soul (“we”, “us”) provides Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) sessions and workshops, based in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, USA, and online. Aid 4 Soul is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: anna@aid4soul.com.
What data we collect
- Contact & booking form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you select, your message, and — if you provide them — a requested session time or your preferred availability.
- Email correspondence: anything you choose to send us by email.
- Technical data: our hosting infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and reliability. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we process it (legal bases under the GDPR)
- To respond to your enquiry and to arrange, confirm, and hold sessions — steps taken at your request prior to and as part of providing the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep basic correspondence records and protect the security of the website — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond or schedule a session. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.
Cookies
This website uses only functional cookies — no analytics or advertising cookies:
- a4s_lang — remembers the language you choose (English or Polish).
- a4s_geo — remembers that a language was suggested to you once, so you are not redirected again; it expires after 30 days.
- pll_language — set by our multilingual system to remember the language of the pages you view; it expires after 1 year.
- a4s_consent — stores your cookie choices from the consent banner; it expires after 6 months.
You can review or change your choices at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Should we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, they will run only with your prior consent.
Who receives your data
Your data is handled by the practitioner and by the service providers who make this website and our email work (EU-based website hosting and our email provider), acting as processors. Because the practitioner is based in the United States, correspondence you send is read there; we keep such transfers to what is necessary to respond to you and provide the service you request.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up sessions, and no longer than necessary afterwards, unless the law requires a longer period.
Contact-form records
Messages sent through our contact form are also stored in the website’s own database (hosted in the EU), so your request is not lost even if email delivery temporarily fails. Each record contains the details you submitted, together with your IP address and browser identifier, which are kept for spam protection. These records are accessible only to the site administrator, are automatically deleted after 12 months, and are never shared or made public. You may request a copy or deletion of your records at any time by emailing anna@aid4soul.com — we use WordPress’s built-in privacy tools to export or erase them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email anna@aid4soul.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO); in the EU, your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services and this website are directed at adults and are not intended for children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
